Jason Silver

Coming from a long line of orchestral leaders and conductors, Jason’s musical ability started at the tender age of 3 when he began to learn the violin. Before long, his strong ear for melody
and musical understanding became noticed by many, leading to his involvement in orchestras and competitions.

By 13, Jason was playing the piano professionally and by 18, he was invited to take part in various gigs and studio sessions across London. Soon after, Jason began touring as a
keyboardist with various acts and artists across the UK and USA, and also became heavily involved as a session keyboardist in the UK garage scene recording on hits for the likes of Mis-Teeq and Artful Dodger.
In 2002, Jason started Soul/Funk band ‘Raiyn’ in which he was able to hone his skills as a songwriter, arranger and producer, which culminated in the album ‘Flyaway’ released independently and picked up by US producer Gary Katz (Steely Dan).
Since 2007, Jason has recorded and toured internationally with Mark Ronson (performing along-side Amy Winehouse, Robbie Williams, Lilly Allen & Duran Duran), toured extensively with Daniel Merriweather, and has previously been involved with Donna Summer, Natalie Cole, Tricky and is currently working with Pixie Lott.
